Bringing about 15 new locations, from acquired practices to new facilities, onto UF Health’s networks, devices, and systems, on programs budgeted from $1M to $20M.

  • 100+

    facilities in scope

  • ~15

new locations brought onto UF Health

  • $1M+

    program budgets, up to $20M

  1. Situation

UF Health keeps growing through new facilities, expansions, and acquisitions. Each one needs its networks, devices, systems, and data brought up to UF Health standards, inside a 24/7, mission-critical healthcare environment.

  2. Task

Drive the infrastructure strategy and delivery for these projects across 100+ facilities, running concurrent programs with budgets from $1M to $20M.

  3. Action

    • Ran each program with Agile: tracked scope, milestones, dependencies, KPIs, risks, and executive status across concurrent projects.
    • Directed cross-functional teams across engineering, security, networking, AV, facilities, and clinical operations.
    • Kept every migration within HIPAA and information-security requirements.
    • Led engineers, specialists, and technical managers, assigning work by scope, skills, and operational priority.
    • Ran the risk registers and schedules, and supported each project after go-live.
  4. Result

    • First Coast Heart & Vascular: managed the IT integration of the practice’s eight cardiology clinics after it joined UF Health in 2025, with a $1M budget for devices, infrastructure, and other IT equipment.
    • Statewide time clock refresh: replaced 250+ UKG Kronos time clocks across UF Health campuses, and added clocks at new locations that had none, so clinical staff can clock in and out. Coordinated application engineers, facilities, network engineers, and IT technicians.
    • Women’s imaging and breast cancer center (Aug–Oct 2025, team of 15–20): relocated the infusion center with its network and equipment, then procured, installed, and validated every IT, network, and clinical device the new center needed, before the deadline.
    • HR department move (Jan–May 2025, team of 10–14): moved an HR department to a new building with internet, cabling, phones, and all of its IT and AV equipment, on a move day agreed with staff to keep downtime to a minimum.
